STANDING COMMISSIONS

The standing commissions are established by the Association's General Assembly for an at least three-years-term between the congresses to bring together urban development projects implemented in major metropolises and to encourage the exchange of these experiences between members. All members, but also other international organisations and outside partners may participate in the work of the commissions. Member cities are elected as President and Vice-President of the commissions. In the course of the congress they present a report on their activities. Up-to-date information on the stage of the commissions' proceedings is available in the internet page set up in collaboration with the Development Gateway Foundation.
