Map 06.12

Explanations and Imprint of the Map
  1. The predominant building age groups (data in decades) of residential buildings are represented at block and block segment level of the block map 1 : 5,000 (ISU5, Spacial Reference Environmental Atlas 2010). The "predominant" building age group is the group that occurs most frequently within the area percentagewise.
For 2 or more building age groups represented with equal shares, the area is donated as a "mixed building age group". The data display for factual data provides detailed (additional) information on the map.
  2. The analyses are based on data from the 2011 census on the stock of approximately 320,000 residential buildings and data from the Bautätigkeitsstatistik 2011-2015 (statistics on building activity; an additional 8,300 buildings approximately)
  3. Due to data protection, no statements can be made on blocks or block segments that only contain 1 or 2 buildings. Respective areas the refore remain unconsidered .
