Volkspark Rehberge, a park-forest-lake landscape near the centre of surrounded by traffic but in spite of that surprisingly quiet, offers joggers a varied environment with flat routes extendable with inclines. The park with its manifold attractions (deer and wild boars enclosures, aviaries, a sledding hill, outdoor stage, large greens for recreation, and a restaurant) is a perfect destination for families on the weekend.
The route proposed is 3.3 km long and can be easily extended. The paths are well maintained, and although the park is open 24 hours a day, the route is not illuminated except for a short stretch between Windhuker Straße and the sports fields.
