Thematic Planning

The 21st century will see the revitalisation of the city centre, and Berlin is contributing to this process with the re-urbanisation of its unused waterfront locations. As in London, Paris, and Amsterdam, the opportunity to live on the waterfront will appeal to Berliners, make relocating to Berlin even more attractive, and will contribute to preserving the combination of residential, office, and recreational areas that is so typical of Berlin.
 
We hope that the plans on the following pages will inspire residents, building associations, investors, and local citizens' groups to become involved in these plans for the future.
