As in the previous section, the area of the former border fortification is dominated by about ten kilometres of the new Autobahn 113. The appearance of this area changes almost daily. The new Autobahn follows the Teltowkanal. Due to the advanced construction, only a few remnants of the Wall can be found throughout the entire area.
South of Köpenicker Straße - where the border fortifications took a perpendicular turn to the south at the eastern end of the Rudow-Ost pier - a long section of hinterland Wall remains.
